Kegel – Mobile App for Men’s Pelvic Health Training

How It Started
The project began with a clear brief: design and build a mobile app that helps men improve pelvic health through targeted kegel muscle training. Kegel exercises are clinically recognised for addressing issues like bladder control and erectile dysfunction, but most men have no structured way to practise them. The goal was an app that made the process approachable, trackable, and consistent – a personal trainer in your pocket for something most people would never discuss out loud.
We started with a Design & Discovery phase to define the user experience and visual direction before moving into development.
What We Built
A React Native mobile application for iOS and Android covering the full training experience:
- Step-by-step exercise instructions guiding users through each session, with audio and vibration cues for a fully hands-free experience.
- Daily challenges with progressive difficulty levels that adapt as the user advances.
- A built-in calendar for tracking training days completed and maintaining consistency.
- Silent mode for discreet sessions – no sound, no vibration.
- Push notifications and daily workout reminders to keep users on track.
- A subscription model with free trial, giving users access to the full training library after the trial period.
- Topic-related articles and insights for users who want to understand the science behind the exercises.
Design
The Design & Discovery phase produced a complete, high-fidelity Figma prototype covering all core user flows – from onboarding through daily training to subscription management. The interactive prototype is available to explore below.
Technology
The app is built with React Native for cross-platform iOS and Android delivery, with backend infrastructure running on Google Cloud Platform.
